imagination abound!
I love spending the day with children and capturing their imaginations and playtime. This family is very special to me and I always look forward to new visits to their home every year! Thanks guys for a wonderful day!

I can't say this enough: I love what I get to do. Not only do I get to take photos to capture the moments in people's lives, but I get to constantly meet to people and spend time with them during some of the most exciting times in their lives. I love the anticipation this new mom feels and I loved spending the day with her to capture that!

This little princess has been welcomed into such a wonderful home and a big family who were excited for her arrival. Everyone from aunts and uncles, cousins, grandma and grandpa, and the parents, too, enjoyed being a part of this photo shoot!

This soon to be mother was all about the hot clothes, great poses, and flourishes! We had a great time! This couple was so excited for their first born. And her husband was so attentive during the shoot. Congrats you two!

Soon and very soon!
This soon-to-be-mother had such a great sense of style and was so willing to play around with different textures and patterns. We had a blast trying new things all day! From the hats to the jewelry to the outfits, she was decked out from head to toe! And her husband's chucks and hat really completed the look! These two fit together so well and really let their own unique style shine through!

I love photographing kids! There is something really fulfilling about capturing a day in the life of a little one during those formative years. Everything is new and exciting through the eyes of a child. Their imagination is so vibrant! It was such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with this sweetheart and her dad!

This family of four will soon be a family of five, and with two adorable little girls, this couple couldn't be more thrilled with their baby boy on the way! And what better way to celebrate a boy, but to girly it up with ballerinas and toole!

This couple was so excited to welcome in their first born child, and what a way to celebrate and prepare, but with a fun photo session! They are so photogenic and fit together so well. It was a pleasure to document this anticipation season in their lives together!
french toast and hugs!
When I'm not photographing the beginnings of life, you can find me documenting the best nourishment in life--french toast and hugs. This is the name of an organization that travels around the world, setting up a french toast making stand, giving out free servings of this breakfast treat (along with some good cheer and a hug) to needy folks. It was such an eye opening experience and I was happy to be able to contribute photography to the day!
